Dalian Petrochemical Port Company Introduction  

  Dalian Petrochemical Port Company affiliate to Dalian Petrochemical Company. It is situated on the bank of Huanghai and faces Dalian Port across the sea. Transport of sea and land is convenient, it has 3 self-provided piers and 11 berths. Each can handle 5000---50000 MT tanker. The crude oil, heavy oil and propylene can be loaded directly and the liquefied petroleum gas and all kinds of oil products can be transported. It has a yearly handing capacity of 11 million MT.There are 6 landings stage of railway, it can unload 138 tanks wagon of railway, and has crude oil and readymade oil store pot more than 2 million cubic meters.It is one of most important export and transportation bases of the petrochemical products in China.

Personnel organization and capital equipment:

  Port Company has 95 personnel, 14 cadres,  81dockers. Capital equipment includes 18  arms of transportation oil, 6 cranes and 16 entangle cable cars.

Situation of dock berth:

  There are 3 docks of Shenshui, Shunan and Large dock, have 11 multiberths of 5000 --- 50000 MT, and the workboat dock , Donghuan dock of 10000 MT. ( under construction).
  Among them, the Shenshui dock is the largest, there are 6 berths, NO.1 berth and NO.6 berth is 5000 MT, NO.2 berth and NO.5 berth is 15000 MT, NO.3 berth is designed for being 50000 MT originally, it can hold 80000 MT steamer for reducing load really. NO. 4 port can hold 30,000 MT oil ship.The structure of the dock is the caisson gravity mound landing stages, total length is 613. 915 meters, put into operation on July 25, 1991, confirmed through the country formally at the end of 1991, can carry on unloading crude oils and can load more than 20 kinds of oil products.

Shunan port has 3 berths, among them ,NO.7 berth and NO.9 berth have first-class flammable gas alarm and automatically controlled valves. The  management is advanced, the safety measure is complete,it can load and unload the liquefied petroleum gas and inflammable and explosive products, such as propylene,etc., in addition, can also load and unload more than 10 kinds of oil products, such as petrol and diesel oil,etc.

The two berths of  large dock lie in at the westernmost of the company, and build in depending on the breakwater dyke, there is the quality flow meter of oil with first-class level in the world, guarantee interests of the goods owner and ship owner.

1 No. 3 berth of deepwater port rises to 80,000 MT from 50, 000 MT of original designed capacity, No. 4 Berth rises to 50,000 MT from 30,000 MT.

2 No. 7 berth of Shunan port and No. 11 berth of large port rises to 30,000 MT from 15, 000 MT of original capacity.

3 Extend No. 7 and No.11 berth of large port to the liquefied gas port.

Long-term goal:
  According to the increase of smelting amount of the joint- stock company ,we plan to build up two berths of 10000 MT at the Donghuan port in 2004, in order to satisfy the needs of the amount of 1500 -- 18 million tons oil production plunging into the sea.
